The cottage is brilliantly positioned in the middle of nowhere, but really quite near everywhere. That part of Wales is deceptive, things that seem miles away are very quick to get to. The cottage itself is clean and very well thought out. The smart TV works well.if you need that kind of thing, as does the WiFi. The entrance hall.is great for prRead moreeventing sand and all that making its way into the house. The bathroom is bright and clean, and immediately accessible as you enter the house. As with all rented properties, there are few things you can think of that can't be found, you might want to check there are pegs as their numbers were a bit depleted when we arrived, I have absolutely no doubt that the owner would provide more if you asked, she was very helpful the one time we needed her. It is basically a no frills, but very effective holiday base, we have already recommended it to friends. Hide

A lovely comfortable cottage in a beautiful peaceful location. Really impressed at the recycling set up. So many holiday cottages don't seem to bother with this and just expect everything to go in general waste which I always find quite upsetting. Here, it is just as good as if I was at home.

The School House was in an idyllic setting , next to a church and cemetery which meant the neighbours were very quiet lol! The enclosed garden was just enough for our 2 girls (5+7) to ride round and round and make dens and play, and there was a nature reserve about 100m from the house. The garden kept the sun until the last and we stayed out until Read moreabout 9pm each night trapping the last of the sun in the yard. We generally went out for the days and explored different beaches /castles/parks/walks - there was plenty to do within half hour drive. The School House itself does not have any immediate amenities nearby, but we wanted the super private tranquil retreat after long days out and thats just what we got. Good Job ! Hide
