A beautiful stone cottage situated in a peaceful location in the heart of the old village of Robin Hood's Bay, one minute from the beach. The cottage is full of character, has some original artwork, exposed stone walls and Inglenook fireplace with a woodburning stove. There is a spacious outbuilding to the front and outside seating at the rear of the cottage. Due to the tradition steep stairs to the top floor the cottage is not suitable for children under 3.
GROUND FLOOR:
Entrance: Into a hallway.
Kitchen/Lounge: Smart TV with Freeview and separate DVD, iPod docking station. Inglenook fireplace with a wood-burning stove. Wooden dining table and chairs. Fridge with ice-box, electric cooker with double oven and grill, and microwave.
Outbuilding: Washing machine, tumble dryer, fridge/freezer, sink and toilet. Pet-cage measuring 75cms x 52cms.
FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: Double bed, chest of drawers, hanging rail and feature fireplace.
Bathroom: Bath, separate power shower, washbasin and toilet.
Landing: Storage cupboard, rear door.
SECOND FLOOR:
Bedroom 2: Three single beds, chest of drawers, desk and chair, wooden trunk, wooden winding staircase.
Pets: One well-behaved dog is welcome on ground floor only.
Parking: Parking permit for the Fisherhead Car Park for one car. Camper vans, mini buses, vans and trade vans over half a ton are not allowed. Fisherhead Car Park is located about 100 m downhill from the cottage. Parking spaces are not allocated.
Heating: Gas central heating and wood-burning stove.
Short breaks: Not accepted at peak times.
Notes: Towels are provided. Communal garden area, with table and chairs. Unlimited WiFi is available free of charge. Smoking is not allowed at this property. Mobile phone signal is variable.
There is a winding staircase leading from the first to the second floor. There is no door or stair gate to the staircase on the second floor. The second floor bedroom is therefore not be suitable for people with mobility problems or children aged 3 or under.
