Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!

Southwold is a beautiful place and The Mews is situated in a great spot. The overall size of the apartment is adequate and we found it clean and tidy. However this appartment was far from a comfortable stay. It's furniture was not only tired looking it was uncomfortable from the sofa, mattress, the bed frame, tv, towels, the shower not consistent tRead moreemp, it all needs replacing. No WiFi, unable to even accept or make telephone calls.We left a day sooner than we paid for (even though weather was great) as we had, had enough. Hide

Its a very nice place, but was let down for us unfortunately by the very poor WIFI. We do like to use the internet in the evenings. I ran a speed test when I was there which gave a reading of about 0.1 MBPS. This is about 400 times slower than we get at home. With only one device attached it was just about possible to read emails and that was it. WRead moree ended up very quickly using up the monthly data allowances on both our phones. Hide

Great position in Southwold, everything you need in the apartment, loved the food extra's on arrival. New scourer cloth and clean tea towel provided. Settee was tired and no internet, but we loved our stay.
