It is hard to believe this stunning detached cottage for two was once the original tack room and stables for the old Tresallyn riding school, which has since been converted to modern livery facilities.  The owners have taken great care in the design and furnishing of the cottage to ensure an idyllic holiday for their visitors. Situated on a working farm the cottage offers spacious accommodation, peace and tranquillity in a rural setting. However the bustling village of St Merryn and several sandy, surfing beaches are only a short drive away as is the fishing port of Padstow, where a choice of many restaurants and places of interest including the Camel Trail may be found.

GROUND FLOOR: 
Kitchen/Diner: Refrigerator, freezer, washer/dryer, slimline dishwasher, double electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, iPod dock/speaker, dining table and chairs, TV, patio doors leading to patio and garden, countryside views. 
Cloakroom: Basin, w.c.
Lounge: Smart TV, DVD player,  woodburner, 2 sofas, coffee table, patio doors leading to patio and garden. 
Bedroom: Kingsize bed (5'), wardrobe, bedside tables, wall mounted TV, hair dryer En Suite Bathroom: Bath (thermostatic shower over), basin, w.c.

GARDEN AND PARKING: Large patio to front with table and 4 chairs, garden to side.  One allocated parking space.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 2 well-behaved medium sized dogs; £25 per pet per week; pets to be restricted to kitchen/diner and hallway.
Power and Heat: Oil and electricity included in rent; oil c.h./hot water, heated towel rails en suite and cloakroom, multi-fuel/woodburning stove in lounge, fan heater/air con in kitchen.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).
Baby Equipment: Higher available upon request. Other equipment not provided, but can be hired.
Shop: 1.3 mls  Pub: 1.4 mls

LIVERY
If you would like to bring your horse on holiday with you then livery can be arranged with the owners. PRICE GUIDE: Full livery £25 per day or just stable hire £15 per day (horse owner to provide all bedding/feed if just hiring a stable).

NOTES: No smoking, babies under the age of 1 only. WiFi provided. Call box 1.5 mls, mobile reception varies.

Such a beautiful cottage in a peaceful rural location with wonderful views. A warm welcome from our hosts on arrival & the cottage had everything we needed and the perfect size for two adults and our two labradors. An ideal base for exploring Cornwall. We were so lucky with the weather so we could also take advantage of the garden to sit with a glaRead moress of wine and watch the sunset. Hope to return soon. Hide

Great cottage conversion. Everything you needed and high quality. Spacious and very comfortable. Possibly a two seater settee in the kitchen may work for visitors with dogs who need to stay out of delightful lounge. Very comfortable large bed. Beautiful setting in a great area of Cornwall. So many beautiful beaches and spoilt for things to do.

Beautiful cottage in quiet and private location with country views. Central heating kept the cottage warm and cosy and shower is great. Very comfy bed. Lovely to see and hear the horses coming and going from the stable opposite. The owners are very friendly and are happy to help if you need anything

What a lovely cottage seemingly in the middle of nowhere but really close to all amenities including pubs, supermarket and of course the bustling harbour town of Padstow. Beautiful cottage. We were very comfortable staying there with our 2 dogs. A short drive to Padstow and supermarket. Travisker garden centre, a short drive away, is a lovely place to visit. Great cafe, brilliant for full English breakfast on departure day

This cottage is in an ideal location, just outside Padstow. Many coastal walks just a short drive away. Lovely quiet location with a lovely view from the cottage garden. Well equipped kitchen, smart TV, light and airy cottage, very clean and comfortable. We have booked again for next year.

We loved this cottage and its stunning location. Bed was super comfy with good linens and towels. Shower was excellent. Loved the outside space which worked so well for our dogs. The owners were very helpful with their recommendations and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic cottage, a great location, lots of nearby beaches and good restaurants. The hosts Alison and Andy were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is extremely spacious, clean, well presented and comfortable. The kitchen is large and well equipped with everything you would need. The lounge is very light and airy and the sofas very comfortable.Read more There is plenty of room in the bedroom for your clothes and the bed is really comfortable. Lovely place in a rural location. Ideal for couples who appreciate the area whilst not being in the full buzz of Cornwall, which can at times be congested and busy. Ideal to walk to the local pub/restaurant from the cottage.

Beautifully appointed extremely comfortable cottage which exceeded our expectations and is very spacious for two. Set in a peaceful and picturesque setting the garden and sunny patio area is great for alfresco dining with wonderful views of the countryside. It's a great base to go out exploring Cornwall by car or perfect for walkers using the coaRead morestal paths to explore the many beautiful beaches and bays. Padstow is only a few miles down the road and St Merryn has a convenience store, petrol station, pubs, a takeaway and fish and chip shop. Warm and comfortable cottage which withstood the worst weather Cornwall threw at us - although due to the exceptionally heavy rain there was a small river running down the drive at one point, and some local roads were flooded.
