Sea Dream Cottage is a beautifully furnished & decorated, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, pet friendly holiday home; brand new to the rental portfolio and full of subtly luxurious touches!

It is situated in the heart of Shaldon village in-between the village green & The Clipper Caf? & Shaldon Beach along The Strand. In August why not come and join in the fun at the Shaldon Regatta, a nine day event that is over 200 years old and offers fun for all the family.

The cottages coastal style invites you to kick off your shoes, slow your pace of life and appreciate the great outdoors. Simply put, it's summer by the sea, bottled!

The entrance welcomes you straight in to the charming lounge and elegant seaside chic dining area which follows on through to a spacious kitchen and a sunny breakfast room with opening glass doors onto a small palm & fern planted patio.

A contemporary grey tiled shower room with hand basin & WC is to the left of the breakfast room also.

The kitchen is equipped with a tall fridge freezer, Neff oven, induction hob & extractor & dishwasher.

Leading from the kitchen is a stable back door past the small utility area complete with washing machine, which leads out to a sunny, enclosed patio with table and chairs.

Walk upstairs onto the landing and in front of you is second luxury shower room & hand basin followed by a light & airy, front facing, double size master bedroom with vaulted ceilings, a wall mounted TV, drawers & hanging rail and an en-suite WC & hand basin.


A little further down the corridor are two further bedrooms ~ a double bedroom and a third bedroom with two single 2'6'' beds. In-between is a WC & hand basin. Both of these rear bedrooms enjoy views of the sea through the trees.

Vaulted ceilings & Velux windows are a feature in all the bedrooms together with wall mounted TV's, drawers & hanging space for your clothes.

The coastal style flows throughout bedroom two & three with pale grey painted floor boards & classic striped curtains which evoke the simple, easy-going spirit of the summer months all year round, when the sun is shining, the beach is calling and life is relaxed and easy.

The village has excellent restaurants, cafes, pubs and shops all within easy walking distance and sailing, a zoo and children's play park close by.

Two miles away is the excellent Teignmouth Golf Course designed by the Augusta National architect. Shaldon's elegant Georgian architecture, fisherman's cottages and narrow streets exude charm. Throughout the year there are activities, festivals and the very popular Shaldon Regatta in August, a nine day event that is over 200 years old and offers fun for all the family..

Village shops include; award winning butchers, excellent bakery, pharmacy, Post Office, village store, hairdressers, gift and craft shops.

Takeaways; Fish and Chips, The Yummy Shop - teas, coffees and smoothies, Langage Farm ice creams luxury chocolates and fudge.

Security deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Lovely cottage, well decorated and equipped and a great space. Lovely location in a lovely village. No allocated parking but paid parking is only a five minute stroll away.

We arrived to a beautiful clean cottage right in the heart of Shaldon with the added bonus of the beach being right on the doorstep! Sea Dream cottage is very well equipped for all your needs. The kitchen is modern with lots of crockery & utensils, everything you need & more! The living room is cosy with wooden beams, lots of seating and a woodRead more burning stove. There is also a lovely window seat where you can sit and watch people passing by. Being close to the Clipper Cafe we were able to have fresh croissants & coffee most mornings! The courtyard garden was lovely, our little dog felt very safe. The information folder was very useful too, the owners have thought of everything you need to know. Shaldon can be extremely busy but we were very lucky with parking, being able to park next to the cottage was an added bonus. One thing to note, due to the age of the cottage some of the floors upstairs are uneven, especially the bathroom but this is to be excepted and adds to the charm. Overall we had a lovely stay at Sea Dream cottage it has a very homely atmosphere. Hide

The best thing about this cottage is that it is in Shaldon! It is also in a wonderful location for everything in the village. There is adequate outdoor space at the cottage to hang out wet things and rinse off muddy boots. Plenty of space downstairs. Great location - prefect for dog walks on Ness beach, close to pubs and nice places to eat and superb base to explore South Devon. Cosy cottage, comfy beds, quiet at night despite central location, well equipped - great welcome pack. Some cleanliness issues but nothing major, beds and towels lovely and clean.
