The Old Chapel is a distinctive property and we enjoyed our stay here. The property was comfortable and roomy for a couple, and provided a convenient base for visiting the local area, including the nearest town, Aylsham, which is a lovely place with lots of period properties and independent shops. It's not far to the delights of Holt and the coasRead moret at Sheringham or Cromer. The kitchen is small but has all you need. With the wood burning stove lit the chapel is cosy and charming. Hide

We stayed on the coldest weekend of the year so far in december and made plenty of use of the fire, which was lovingly placed in the centre of the building to provide lots of warmth. The Old Chapel was a great base to reach Cromer, Sherringham, Mundesley, Overstrand and many other nice coastal Norfolk areas. Thank you for a lovely stay.

We generally loved the place. If I was to nit-pick, I would say that my partner was startled to have a heard of cows just over the fence along with a swarm of flies. (she is a bit of a city girl really, although they did not stop her going out to sit in the sun and read her book). From my point of view I thought the bathroom a little cramped and Read morehad we been inclined to use the sauna together would have been quite cosy , to say the least haha. The TV at approx 25'' could have been bigger, But as I say all this is nit-picking. I loved he design and the decor. If it came up for sale I would consider buying it , so you can't say fairer than that ! Hide
