For outdoor adventures, roam Saltfleetby and Theddlethorpe Dunes National Nature Reserve (11 miles), with scenic coastal walks and abundant animals to spot. Animal lovers can visit Wolds Wildlife Park (12 miles), Donna Nook Grey Seal Colony (13.5 miles) or the Seal Sanctuary Wildlife Centre in Mablethorpe (14 miles). History enthusiasts can discover Horncastle (13 miles) and Gunby Hall (15.5 miles), while National Trust Sandilands (17 miles) is another option for a day out. Families can head to Rand Farm Park (19 miles) for a fun-filled visit, or uncover historic Tattershall Castle (22 miles).

A bright, airy hallway welcomes you in, with plenty of storage for coats and shoes. There’s also a washing machine tucked into the cupboard on the left, ready for guest use. Inside, a generous open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area brings everyone together. The kitchen is well placed for preparing meals, while the lounge has cosy sofas and a Smart TV for cosy evenings in. Patio doors beside the dining area lead directly onto a decking balcony, making it easy to take meals or a morning coffee outdoors. There are four bedrooms to choose from: two king-size rooms, each with its own en-suite shower room, plus a double and a single bedroom that share a chic tiled family bathroom.

Outside, an enclosed veranda wraps around the property, with furniture for al fresco dining. Guests have access to a range of on-site facilities, including an 18-hole golf course, a health spa and indoor pool, bike hire and a tennis court – facilities must be booked and paid for online in advance. There’s also a hotel bar and restaurant, both of which are open to non-residents to enjoy a lunchtime snack or evening meal, served overlooking the Kenwick Park gardens and the golf course.
