This characterful cottage sits at the top-end of the beautiful seaside village of Llangrannog, about half a mile from the beach. Llangrannog has an award-winning pub, two excellent cafe/restaurants and a general store. The picturesque village sits in a sheltered valley overlooking Cardigan Bay, with a golden sandy beach ideal for swimming and surfing. Follow the Wales Coast Path along the dramatic cliffs, keep an eye out for dolphins in the bay, and round off the day with a meal or drink at the popular seafront pub and restaurant. There are plenty more beaches to discover nearby, including Cwmtydu (3 miles), Tresaith (4 miles) and Aberporth (5.5 miles). For a livelier day out, head to New Quay (8 miles), where you’ll find more beaches, independent shops, bars and restaurants. You can also join a boat trip to look for dolphins at certain times of the year.
A generous boot room and entrance lobby welcome you in, with room for coats, footwear and outdoor gear. From here, the kitchen/diner leads through to a dedicated play area and comfortable sitting room, keeping everyone connected throughout the day. The well-equipped kitchen makes preparing meals straightforward, and the dining table seats up to six. After a day out, settle on the sofas in front of the wood burner, with a Smart TV for an evening indoors. There are three bedrooms: two doubles and a children's twin, all finished in calm, neutral tones for a good night’s sleep. A family bathroom and separate cloakroom WC add convenience when everyone is getting ready for the day.
Outside, a gated lawn has a table and chairs for sitting in the fresh air. An outdoor shower is particularly useful for rinsing off after coastal adventures and washing sand from wetsuits. Off-road parking is available for two cars, with room for a boat too.
