We absolutely loved our stay in Harlech. The apartment was perfect for us (couple with one child). I especially loved the sea view from the bay window. In the evening you can sit and watch the sunset. The garden is also very pretty, though only partly suitable for very small children. The landlady is a very nice lady, who is always eager to help anRead mored give recommendations. Hide

The property is very homely with an amazing view of the sea (which is within walking distance). Our kids particularly enjoyed the garden and swing! Really well located for trips out to Porthmadog and Barmouth; additionally, Llandanwg is another little coastal gem just a couple of minutes' drive away, and you're only a few minutes away from the LlanRead morefair slate caverns and childrens' farm park. Great view from the lounge, lovely host but is somewhat dated on the inside. Parking could be an issue for some given the steep hill and occasionally busy road to cross. But ok overall.

We had a lovely week at Morawel - the cottage was very well looked after and exremely clean. Mrs Smith was an exceprional host giving us ideas and suggestions and on hand should we have had any problems with anything. It was easy to find ourselves gazing out at the Bay and we saw some spectacular sunsets. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Hide

We have just had the most magical stay in Harlech. It was so perfectly located for exploring Wales and we were made so comfortable by Kath. Her apartment was so well equipped and comfortable. Plus that view we woke up to each morning was priceless!

Totally great house, super location, amazing views, which is why our family of 4 keeps returning to it.. The Cae Besi apartment we stayed in was ideal. Super location, clean, spaceous, well-equipped and with the best views of the sun setting over the sea I've ever seen in Britain. Our 6 year-old son loved the garden, with its swings and space to play hide-and-seek, as well as a pleasant outdoor table for drinks (we did plan an outdoor meal one day butRead more unfortunately the weather didn't play ball). Harlech centre is easily walkable, as is the station and - a bit further - the beach. While parking is across the road, we never found this to be a problem. Kath was wonderful in looking after us, making sure we had what we wanted and sharing useful information while never being obtrusive: a perfect combination! We would certainly go back if holidaying again in the area, and would thoroughly recommend Cae Besi to others. Thanks! Hide
