An exquisite retreat near Bwlchtocyn, this North Wales holiday haven makes a perfect base from which to discover the natural beauty of the LlÅ·n Peninsula. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom, single-storey hideaway, which is 2.5 miles by car from Abersoch, enjoys an enviable position, just 100 metres from long, sandy Machroes Beach, where you can swim, windsurf and take to the water in a kayak. Abersoch Golf Club, with its spectacular coastal views, is the same distance away. Take a pleasant 1-mile walk into vibrant Abersoch from the cottage to dine out or stock up on local produce. Stride off on a longer stroll along the LlÅ·n Coastal Path in either direction. Bring your surfboard and venture 3 miles to spectacular Porth Neigwl, which is popular with those who enjoy taking to the waves. The National Trust’s charming manor house and gardens at Plas yn Rhiw are 8 miles away.

Make your way inside this beautiful retreat to find welcoming accommodation with a fresh, airy appeal. At the heart of the getaway is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, finished in soft coastal colours to enhance the tranquil, seaside ambience. Congregate in here to unwind, chat and make the most of your downtime between excursions. The kitchen has been designed with all your self-catering needs in mind, and there is a table where you can dine with the French windows open on bright, sunny days. Afterwards, take your place on the comfortable seating to play games, read your books or watch the Smart TV together. The bedrooms, both of which have contemporary en-suite shower rooms, have been finished with the same level of care and attention. Treat yourself to a perfect night’s sleep in either the double or twin room. Your laundry facilities are situated in an outbuilding to the rear of the cottage.

Wake to sip a cup of freshly brewed coffee out on the sun-soaked deck. Have afternoon tea on the veranda as you look out over the delightful garden, and dine under the stars on the patio. Please note there are some steps between the different levels of the garden. There is storage for bikes here, plus parking for two cars.
