Heading south, the picturesque village of Levens (4.5 miles) is home to the impressive Levens Hall, with the National Trust’s breathtaking estate at Sizergh just to the east (5.5 miles). The bustling town of Kendal is also to the east (6 miles), while to the west, the shores of Windermere (5.5 miles) host attractions including Blackwell, The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction, the Jetty Museum and Brockhole, all within 10.5 miles.
