Start in scenic Blakeney (4.5 miles), then travel west to Wells-next-the-Sea (11.5 miles) to watch boats bobbing on the picturesque quay or stretch out on the broad sandy beach beside its painted huts. Heading east, Sheringham (8 miles) is home to Sheringham Park, while Cromer (11 miles) is famous for its iconic pier. History and culture lovers can tour the Blickling Estate (11 miles), Holkham Hall Estate (13 miles), Houghton Hall & Gardens (20 miles). The Muckleburgh Military Collection (5 miles), RSPB Cley Marshes (5 miles) and Pensthorpe Nature Reserve (11 miles) add further variety.
On arrival, step inside and make yourself at home in the impressive open-plan living space, with its vaulted atrium ceiling and elegant beams. Sink into the comfortable seating and choose a favourite on the Smart TV while dinner takes shape in the well-equipped kitchen. A kitchen island with bar stools gives you somewhere to perch with a pre-dinner drink, while the adjoining dining area has a charming table for settling down to leisurely breakfasts and evening meals. When it’s time to turn in for the night, head up the glass-fronted staircase to a mezzanine landing leading to two inviting king-size bedrooms, one of which has its own en-suite bathroom, and a twin room. A family bathroom, also fitted with a shower over the bath and WC, serves the remaining bedrooms.
