From here, step into the spacious farmhouse-style kitchen, fully equipped and seamlessly connected to the lounge/diner. Bright and welcoming, the open-plan living space centres around a wood burner that casts a warm glow across the sofas and armchairs, creating the perfect atmosphere for cosy evenings in. A Smart TV adds easy entertainment after days spent exploring the coast and countryside. Also on the ground floor are two twin bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bedroom benefits from an en-suite shower room, while the second enjoys access to a stylish family shower room complete with a large walk-in shower. High Auchenlarie is a stunning holiday cottage with exceptional views. We loved the comfy beds, the well equipped kitchen and the peaceful surroundings. We would highly recommend the cottage, its a great base to explore Dumfries & Galloway. Also only a 20 minute walk to the excellent Gather restaurant and GGs Yard wedding venue. We also loved theRead more proximity to Mossyard beach which is stunning. We were also very lucky to see the Northern Lights at the back of the cottage and with so little light pollution the stars are beautiful. Thank you for a wonderful stay, hopefully we will be back.
