Just a stone’s throw from the Moray Firth coastline, this delightful lodge occupies a peaceful corner of the Duffus Estate - a grand, expansive setting of woodlands, open fields and abundant wildlife. Perfect for up to three guests, the property invites you to immerse yourself in nature without straying far from home, with scenic walking paths beginning right on your doorstep. The charming seaside village of Hopeman lies just 2.5 miles away, offering the perfect starting point for an adventure along the Moray Coast Trail. This spectacular 50-mile route hugs the coastline, revealing hidden coves, rugged clifftops and wide sandy beaches, with opportunities to spot dolphins, whales and seabirds along the way. The trail begins in Forres (11.5 miles), a picturesque market town with plenty to explore, including a golf course, two distilleries and award-winning floral displays.

Before stepping inside, take a moment to appreciate the cottage’s attractive stone exterior and the surrounding countryside views. Inside, the interiors reflect this natural beauty, with floral soft furnishings, feature walls and carefully preserved original details, including a charming fireplace. The cosy lounge area is centred around a wood burner set within a stone hearth, creating a warm and inviting space to relax. Unwind on the sofa or gather around the dining table while enjoying the Smart TV. Next door, the kitchen is compact yet fully equipped, featuring bright tiling and cheerful décor. When it’s time to rest, head along the hallway to find two bedrooms: a spacious, south-facing king-size room and a comfortable single bedroom, ideal for a younger guest. A well-appointed shower room with decorative tiling completes the interior.

Outside, step onto the decking to relax under sunny or starry skies. This peaceful outdoor space includes seating, a BBQ and a hammock - perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Private parking is available for two cars.
