Hosting six guests, the property is well-positioned for those seeking a wide range of activities. A choice of sandy beaches can be found within 1 mile, including Mossyard Beach, where you’ll find the Wild Dook Sauna for some by-the-sea wellness. Local towns offer a variety of specialities, ideal for exploring a new destination each day. Gatehouse of Fleet (4 miles), your nearest, is a popular walking destination on the edge of Galloway Forest Park, home to the scenic Cally Woods with plenty of pretty nature trails. Step inside via the entranceway and utility area, where boots and coats can be stored. Spend sociable evenings in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a space where patio doors lead onto the decking and frame distant sea views. The kitchen has been recently fitted with modern fixtures and appliances, alongside a dining area where six guests can comfortably gather. Sofas and armchairs are arranged to create a welcoming lounge area, complete with a Scandi-style wood burner and a Smart TV tucked into the corner. Switch on the Bluetooth speakers to fill the space with music or choose a family-favourite film to stream on the Smart TV. As the evening draws to a close, three restful bedrooms can be found along the hallway. The largest is a super-king-size bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. This is accompanied by two charming twin bedrooms, served by a family bathroom.

Capture the sea views from the enclosed decking, a private outdoor space accessible through the patio doors. This was our fourth visit to Bluebell Lodge and we enjoyed ourselves every bit as much as we have done on previous holidays. The facilities are great quality and we had no issues with booking or joining instructions. Our week at Mossyard - as ever - gave us the chance to recharge our batteries and enjoy family time in wonderful surroundings.
