Great House in a great (remote) location. We could see deer and sheep and highland cows from the window. Large kitchen and dinning area to spend time together. A few more plates would have been useful but overall well equipped clean. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at the Sherrabeg Cottage. It was truly an escape, and we will think fondly about our time for years to come. I told my wife at one point that I would probably long for the Highlands for the rest of my life.

Unfortunately the heating wasnt working which we noted when we arrived making it a very cold stay and the emergency repairs only lasted 24hrs. More importantly the property had an extremely unpleasant odour which could not be masked which was in the main house upstairs. The house keeper however was extremely helpful and did called out a plumber anRead mored provided an electric radiator but due to the size of the property it was still cold. Hide

I have stayed in many holiday cottages throughout the UK for the last 40 years or so and this one is, by some way, the best that I have experienced. The location, internal appointment and facilities are all excellent. The views are magnificent. It is remote, but that adds to the character, and it is only a short drive to local facilities.
