We had a great holiday at 26 Castle Street. Comfortable apartment with everything you need for a self catering holiday. A little tired in places. Nice and quiet. Kirkcudbright is a lovely town. Thank you for the welcome gift!

Property easy to find with adequate parking. Easy entry procedure and warm on entry. This was early January 2026. Plenty of room for 4 adults and nice warm beds. The kitchen was well equipped. Bottle of wine waiting for us. Stocked with basic necessities such as spices and coffee. Even had a French press. We just hung out in the house and watched TRead moreV. Made two trips to Dumfries but all our needs could be met in Kircudbright. Later in the year there are many fun activities planned. A Scottish dance and music night end of January. Great location for exploring the area and a comfortable little place. As ever number 26 does the job for us. Its a very well serviced accommodation and ideally located for the main purpose of our visit. Would I recommend it? Yes I would. Hence next years booking!!

Kirkcudbright is a delightful place to visit. The accommodation is very central to all activities, shops and restaurants. It was very homely although a lot of stairs which were difficult for those less mobile. Good parking directly outside.

We've been to this flat in Castle Street before. It's ideally situated in Kirkcudbright and thus a terrific base for exploring this region of Dumfries and Galloway. In April we stayed in the house, I had long wanted to visit Kirkcudbright, I always wondered why over time it had been chosen as a home by many artists. Once on site I knew it immediately, the town and the people who live there are delightful. Certainly the location helped make our vacation unforgettable, and the 'Scottish hospitality is unparallelRead moreed, as soon as we entered we felt at home. Exceptional cleanliness, great smelling towels and sheets. The kitchen was super equipped, comfy couches and books and board games to pass the time. We also very much enjoyed the brochures being our first time visiting the area. From the house it was a one-minute walk to the main street, stocked with stores, cafes and supermarkets. We loved every minute spent there. The staff was very knowledgeable and responsive. We hope to be able to return soon. Thank you for everything Hide
