We booked this property as we had a wedding to attend in Scotland. It was ideally located for us just on the edge of Banchory, the nearest small town. Property was in good condition and had all we needed, lovely garden and the host was extremely helpful. It is literally a 5minute walk from the town and has a good bus service if you dont have a car Read moreand wish to go further afield. I would definitely book again. A lovely small apartment for two people adjacent to the owners who were friendly and helpful. Great location within easy walking distance of Banchory and it's cafes, restaurants and to explore Royal Deeside . Supermarkets are a short drive away. The flat overlooks gardens and was quiet and had everything we needed. Whilst the bedroom area is very Read morespacious and with a very comfortable bed, the kitchen might be a little small for people who would like to self cater for more than a few days. Not a criticism, just an observation. Hide

Well equipped comfortable bedsit. Great for walking into high street. Very comfortable bed and very clean. Building works going on so to walk to the outside seating you have to walk through unfinished works. Difficult to park on the drive without blocking in one of the two owners' cars but there is on street parking. Felt uncomfortable hearing the Read moreowners immediately the other side of a thin bedroom door. Was frustrating getting duplicate messages from booking.com and Discover Scotland at every stage of the booking including payment. Hide

Actually already a nice appartment, but the room is not a closed room, because the stairs go to the very loud heating room and the doors downstairs are used by the owners too. There were wet areas at the ceiling and the wall! That is a shame.
