Wake up to fresh countryside air and beautiful natural surroundings in this occasion-ready holiday home on the edge of Glasgow, a marvellous place for extended groups of friends and family to come together and celebrate special events. Experience the best of both worlds while staying here, exploring the bountiful wildlife of Stirlingshire (approx. 5 miles) in one direction and Glasgow city centre in the other (7 miles). The historic city of Glasgow offers a vibrant shopping, dining and nightlife scene, along with attractions including the Glasgow Botanic Gardens, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, and the Glasgow Science Centre. The area is awash with a variety of golf courses, including Balmore Golf Club (2 miles) and Hayston Golf Club (3.5 miles), inviting you to try your hand at Scotland’s favourite sport. You’ve also got the stunning scenery of Mugdock Country Park (5 miles), ready for exploring, and the incredible Campsie Fells to the north (7.5 miles).

Decorated with an overflowing sense of eclectic charm, this striking farmhouse is impressive throughout. It consists of a large, converted cottage, a self-contained bothy and three individual stable suites offering privacy for couples. Make your way into the main house, where open-plan living provides sociable surroundings for spending time together. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, finished and furnished for feeding the masses. Continue through to the dining area, with a table seating six, and onward to the lounge space with a warming wood burner set opposite soft sofas and armchairs. A Smart TV adds entertainment here, and you can also relax in the adjoining barn area, which offers additional seating, a pool table, darts and a private bar. The barn conversion is also home to the spa area, complete with an infrared sauna, luxurious shower room, and access to the wood-fired hot tub. Head up to the first floor of the cottage, where three bedrooms and a bathroom are located. Two rooms are super-king-size, decorated in a sophisticated style, and one of these bedrooms has a twin room leading off it, ideal for those with younger children. Step out of the main property and into the bothy to discover a fourth bedroom. This room features two sets of bunk beds, comfortably sleeping four younger guests, along with an attached en-suite shower room. The three remaining bedrooms can be found in separate buildings throughout the grounds. The Peacock, The Duck and The Dove each offer super-king-size bedrooms with wonderful views and beautifully tiled en-suite facilities.

Peace and privacy are assured in this quiet countryside location, and a large garden offers the chance to enjoy it to the fullest. The enclosed garden features a spacious seating area, an outdoor kitchen, a covered courtyard and the wood-fired hot tub. A separate glass-fronted dining room creates a luxurious spot for guests to raise a glass together, and ample private parking completes the property’s generous offering.
