Ganavan Sands (5.5 miles) and Dunbeg Beach (7.5 miles) are fab for seaside days, while history enthusiasts can roam the atmospheric remains of Dunollie Castle (5 miles) and Dunstaffnage Castle (7 miles).

On arrival, you’ll step 1through the entrance door into the hallway, which leads to a welcoming open-plan kitchen, dining and living room. Tasteful decorative touches, inspired by the surrounding area, make you feel right at home. The well-equipped kitchen has everything needed for preparing breakfasts, picnics and evening meals, while the dining table creates a sociable setting for eating together and laying out maps for route planning. After busy days out in the fresh air, there’s plenty of sofa space for vegging out in front of the Smart TV. When bedtime arrives, head to either the king-size bedroom or the twin. The family bathroom has a shower over the bath and a WC, making it easy to enjoy either a quick morning rinse or a relaxing soak after a busy day.
Outside, the private decked area houses a picnic bench where you can eat in the sunshine and stargaze after nightfall. Ample on-site parking is available, along with a chargeable Evolt charging point for electric vehicles. Shared laundry facilities can also be used for an additional charge.
