Heading east you can explore the stunning northern reaches of the Blackdown Hills (17 miles). To the south, you can explore the thriving city of Exeter (21.5 miles); heading north, the beautiful expanses of the magnificent Exmoor National Park (7 miles) offer miles of breathtaking walks. For a day by the sea, the popular resort of Minehead (22.5 miles) lies at the north-eastern edge of the park.
