You can visit the Wensleydale Creamery for tours, as well as stock up on delicious goodies to take home with you. The Dales Countryside Museum is also a must-visit (0.5 miles), alongside a selection of country pubs. The town is a starting point for plenty of walks in the National Park, including the Pennine Way. Follow this long-distance pathway up towards Keld (9.5 miles), passing Hardraw Force, Simonstone and Shaw Gill Wood (all 2 miles) as you follow the waymarked footpath.
