Property code: OC-O45886

Situated on a scenic, cobbled walkway at the heart of Robin Hood’s Bay, this cosy, characterful cottage invites four guests to make long-lasting memories in one of North Yorkshire’s premier coastal holiday destinations. The property is just metres away from the town’s cafes, shops, galleries, and pubs, inviting you to leave the car behind and explore on foot. The beach is about 100 metres away, offering a sandy swathe of rockpools for fossil hunting at low tide, and a place to splash and swim when the water comes in. Coastal walks will fill your days whatever the weather, including the impressive Cleveland Way route, which passes through 109 miles of coastal North Yorkshire beauty spots. Follow it up to Whitby (6 miles), a gothic town that is alive with literary history, or down to Scarborough (13 miles), a traditional seaside town that is overflowing with by-the-sea appeal.

This whitewashed former bakehouse is appealing both indoors and out, promising the perfect blend of original features with modern character. Make your way straight into the kitchen/diner, where wood-panelled, beamed ceilings and exposed brickwork add interest. The fully fitted kitchen and spacious breakfast table are on hand for mealtimes, with light streaming in at breakfast time and a cosy vibe for the evening. After dinner, retire to the next-door lounge, stoking a fire in the wood burner and settling down in front of the Smart TV for an evening of great entertainment. The shower room completes the ground floor. Take the curved staircase upstairs to find two bedrooms, each beautifully designed and dressed in soft, sumptuous linens. The larger of the bedrooms is a double, featuring a dressing area with space for a cot, if needed. Next to it, find a twin bedroom with sloped ceilings.

On arrival at the property, you will notice a small bistro set positioned outside the front door, an ideal spot to sit and sip a morning coffee whilst watching the town wake up. A parking permit is provided to leave your car in a car park a short walk away.
