This quiet Cheshire hamlet feels peaceful without being remote, while space for up to six guests makes the property an excellent base for exploring. Younger guests will love riding the zip wires and jumping on the giant pillows at Apple Jacks Adventure Farm (8.5 miles) or spending a full day on the larger rides at Gulliver's World (13.5 miles). National Trust's Tatton Park (4 miles) is superb, with roaming deer, a gorgeous 18th-century manor house and grounds where you could spend days wandering. Knutsford, an affluent market town, sits just 2.5 miles away and is great for a boutique browse, or sitting down to a formal dinner or quick cafe catch-up.
Enter the bright, open-plan ground floor, where the sunlight pours through the bi-folding doors and the patio feels like a natural extension of the space. Pop the kettle on and sit down on the convertible sofa for laid-back evenings in front of the striking media wall and Smart TV. The sofa can also be converted into a double sofa bed to accommodate two additional guests. At the opposite end of the room, the contemporary kitchen has everything needed for self-catering, with high-quality appliances and plenty of counter space to rustle up any dishes. There are also two breakfast-bar stools, which is a lovely touch when keeping the chef company. Once everything is ready, gather around the dining table, where there is ample space for six guests to share meals. Upstairs, two stylish bedrooms offer a peaceful place to retreat. The king-size bedroom has muted tones and an en-suite shower room with a WC, while the second bedroom features a double bed and has use of the stylish bathroom, which has a bath, shower, and WC.
Step through the bi-folding doors and onto the enclosed patio, where you can light the BBQ or enjoy your morning coffee at the table and chairs. Beyond the patio, guests have access to a large shared grass field, where families can enjoy games and outdoor activities alongside guests staying in the two neighbouring holiday cottages. Private parking is available for one car. Additional parking for up to two further cars is available approximately 20 metres from the property, with convenient access for dropping off and unloading belongings directly outside the cottage.
