This homely, stone-built property dates back to the 18th Century when it was originally a local village pub known as The Badger Inn. Finished to a very high standard in a contemporary and quirky style, the cottage has become a lovely, inviting place for a family or friends holiday, close to the beach, bustling harbour, coastal paths and many of the local attractions in and around Seahouses on the Northumberland coast. It is within close proximity to a number of shops and restaurants and is just a short drive from the many historical and natural treasures that Northumberland offers. Take day trips to the nearby historic castles at Bamburgh or Alnwick, which fans will recognise as Hogwarts in the Harry Potter movies. You can take a boat trip from Seahouses' harbour across to the Farne Islands to see puffins, seals and other wildlife.

The entrance is through the rear door into the bright utility room with a washer/dryer. This leads directly into the well-equipped kitchen with everything required to cook up a good meal. Moving through to the light and airy dining room with its feature fireplace, and large dining table with comfortable chairs for all to sit and enjoy meals together. Across the hallway, you will find the cosy lounge area, with a comfortable sofa and two stylish armchairs. Snuggle up in front of the wood burner for those relaxing nights watching your favourite film on the DVD player. There is a TV/DVD, a selection of DVD's, books and a variety of games to keep the whole family occupied. On the first floor, there are two spacious bedrooms, the master with a king-size bed, and the twin bedroom with two single beds. Completing the property is the generously sized family bathroom.

The cottage does not have any outside space, however, the main harbour, beach and coastal path are just a short walk from the property, as are all the village amenities, including friendly pubs, restaurants and a wide variety of food and gift shops. For convenience, there is an allocated, off-road parking space for one car.
