The Deeside Way runs through the village for walking and cycling, while on the River Dee, you can go salmon fishing with the appropriate permits. Golfers can play a scenic round at Ballater Golf Club (500 metres), and winter visitors can head to Glenshee for skiing and snow sports (26 miles). On arrival, you’ll climb one step into a small porch, where the front door leads into the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space. The layout is simple and sociable, with a living area to your left with comfortable seating and a Smart TV.
