With room for large groups of friends or a family get-together, this appealing duplex apartment is set in vibrant Windermere, with easy access to all amenities. For scenic walks and water-based activities, including paddleboarding and kayaking, head to Bowness-on-Windermere (1 mile). From here, you can also hop on a boat and cruise the iconic lake, or hire your own motor boat or rowing boat for some self-guided exploration. Also, just 1 mile away is the World of Beatrix Potter attraction, bound to be a hit with little ones. Head to Stock Ghyll Force, just outside Ambleside (6 miles), and admire the magnificence of the 70’ waterfall within beautiful woodland, or pack a picnic and head up Loughrigg Fell (9 miles). The most adventurous of the group may want to hike up Scafell Pike (12 miles), England’s highest mountain, to be rewarded with incredible views.

Head up several sets of stone steps up to the grand front door of the imposing stone property, and kick off your boots in the hallway. Stroll through to the fabulous lounge/diner, which boasts a beautiful set of tall windows, a high ceiling and a striking marble fire surround.
