Approximately 1 mile in the other direction from the apartment is Southwold Quay, famous for its crabbing and fresh seafood shacks. From here, you can also catch the rowing boat ferry across to Walberswick, where there is another beach.
Climb the external metal staircase before making your way up to the top level of the building. Enter to find yourselves in an airy, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which has been tastefully decorated in understated grey shades to a gentle coastal theme. Enjoy the views out across the town from the windows. Lay a fire in the grate on crisp evenings, then choose a comfortable seat and watch TV or read as the flames flicker in the background. Unfortunately, due to its very central position, this superb apartment does not have any outside space. Guests are, however, within 100 metres of the grassy stretches of the Parade and the fresh air and sunshine of the beach. Parking for the property is on the street, subject to availability.
