Lydney Harbour (7.5 miles) is lovely for waterside strolls, and the panoramic viewpoint at Symonds Yat Rock (12.5 miles) provides bird's-eye vistas over the River Wye. On arrival at this one-storey abode, you’ll step into an entrance hallway with space to leave coats and walking boots after a day outdoors. Wooden beams and exposed stone walls throughout create a rustic and homely atmosphere. You’ll first encounter a family wet room with shower and WC. Then comes the first bedroom, which has a king-size bed and an en-suite wet room with WC. The second bedroom contains twin beds and has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and WC. You’ll also have a handy separate utility room housing a washing machine and an additional freezer.
