This top-floor penthouse apartment overlooks Watergate Bay on the North Cornwall coast, with views stretching down the valley, across the beach, and out to the Atlantic. Ideal for families, couples, and surf enthusiasts, the bay's 2 miles of sand and exposure to Atlantic swell make it an excellent spot for watersports – with lessons in surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and kite surfing available right on the beach. The coast path connects to Mawgan Porth in one direction and Newquay's seven bays in the other, offering varied clifftop walks with far-reaching coastal views. Beachfront restaurants and bars line the shore, with tables filling up as surf competitions and music festivals roll through the calendar. The atmosphere at Watergate Bay runs year-round, fuelled by the swell and the crowds it draws to this stretch of North Cornwall coastline.

The 40ft open-plan living and dining space sits at the heart of the apartment, with a large corner sofa, electric fire, and Smart TV at one end and a dining table with seating for six at the other. French doors open onto the balcony, framing views down the valley and across the bay. A kitchen area with a large island unit – well suited for breakfast and informal meals – leads from the dining space, while a separate seating area with two armchairs and a digital radio looks out over the rolling hills to the side of the building. The apartment is on the top floor with stair access only and no lift in the development. The master bedroom has a super-king bed and an en-suite shower room with walk-in shower and WC.
