This contemporary apartment sits 150 metres from the shoreline at Watergate Bay on the North Cornwall coast. Ideal for families and couples seeking an active beach holiday, it occupies a quiet position with 2 miles of sand and Atlantic swell right on the doorstep. The bay's open exposure to the ocean makes it an excellent spot for watersports, and a surf school on the beach runs lessons in surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and kite surfing. The coast path leads toward Newquay's seven bays in one direction and Mawgan Porth in the other, opening up long rambles and shorter loops along the North Cornwall coastline. Music festivals and surf competitions run throughout the year, adding a constant buzz of energy to the beachfront. Salt air and wide-open sand define the character of this spirited corner of Cornwall.

The spacious open-plan living area brings together sitting, dining, and kitchen spaces in one bright, airy room. Patio doors open onto a Juliet balcony, letting natural light flood in and framing views over the gardens. Two sofas and a coffee table form the sitting area, with a TV at one end and a double sofa bed that provides additional sleeping space suitable for children. The dining table seats four beside the kitchen, which is fitted out for self-catering stays. From the living area, a door leads through to the double bedroom, where a zip-and-link bed can be configured as a super-king-size double or two singles, with a wardrobe and bedside tables on either side. The family bathroom sits adjacent to the bedroom, fitted with a bath, shower over the bath, heated towel rail, and WC. A selection of books, games, and children's toys is stocked throughout the apartment for younger guests.

The apartment overlooks gardens shared with other guests in the development. A surf shower, also shared with other guests, is available in the grounds for rinsing off after a session on the beach, and a secure storage cage in the basement keeps surf boards, wetsuits, and beach toys safe between outings. Designated parking is available for one car.
