The surrounding coastline opens onto unspoiled coves and turquoise water, while Pendennis Castle (1 mile) stands proudly on its headland. The National Maritime Museum (0.5 miles) charts Falmouth's seafaring heritage, and a ferry from Falmouth Harbour crosses to the Roseland Peninsula, where further stretches of coastline and countryside await.
