This large detached house overlooks Duporth Beach on Cornwall’s south coast, with the garden gate opening directly onto the South West Coast Path. Ideal for families and groups of friends, it offers a spacious seaside setting with access to a private beach and panoramic ocean views. Duporth Beach – a private bay for residents and guests – sits 700 metres along the coast path, a stretch of sand often enjoyed in relative seclusion. The historic harbour of Charlestown, the last open Georgian working harbour of the 18th century, lies along the coast, its tall ships moored alongside pebbly coves dotted with caves. The coast path continues to Porthpean Beach at 1.5 miles, Carlyon Bay (2 miles), and Pentewan (3.5 miles), passing a succession of coves and headlands. Inland, the Eden Project (4 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (6.5 miles) both make for a rewarding day out.

The ground floor centres on two generous living spaces. A spacious living room has high vaulted ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows framing panoramic sea views, and two four-seater sofas arranged around a Smart TV, with two armchairs positioned by the windows for watching the ocean. Through to the sunroom, three sets of French doors open onto the garden, with vaulted ceilings, feature beams, a large corner sofa, an electric fire, and a Smart TV. A fully equipped kitchen has a breakfast bar with two stools and double patio doors leading to the garden, while a separate dining room seats eight around a large wooden table. A ground-floor shower room provides a walk-in shower and WC. On the first floor, all four bedrooms have sea views. The master bedroom has a super-king-size bed with views over the ocean and garden, and an en-suite bathroom with bath, rainfall shower, and WC. Next door, the second bedroom has a super-king-size bed with ocean and garden views. Both the third and fourth bedrooms have super-king-size zip-and-link beds that can be configured as twins, and are served by a family bathroom with a shower over the bath, a separate double walk-in shower, and a WC.

A large level lawn overlooks the ocean, with a decked area alongside for al fresco dining, fitted with outdoor seating and a gas BBQ. A hot tub is set within the garden, and an outside shower is available for rinsing off after the beach. Electric vehicle charging is available through a tethered charger, with the cost included in the rental. Private parking for four cars.
