Designed by an architect featured on television's Grand Designs, this striking contemporary beach house sits 50 metres from Crooklets Beach in Bude, North Cornwall. Ideal for families and groups of friends seeking an active coastal holiday, Bude offers two sandy beaches and plenty of scope for adventure beyond the shore. Pastel-painted beach huts line the white sand at Summerleaze Beach, which also has an open-air tidal swimming pool, when the conditions are right, Crooklets Beach draws surfers with its standout waves. Pedal boats drift along the canal that runs through the centre of town, and cycle paths wind through the surrounding countryside for longer outings on two wheels. Further along the coast, Widemouth Bay (4 miles) adds a wilder, more rugged stretch of Atlantic shoreline to explore. Back in town, a local golf course and the canal wharf add variety beyond the sand.

This split-level property is arranged over three floors with an inverted layout. A utility room with washer/dryer also sits on this level. Stairs connect all three floors.

Two balconies with tables and chairs look out over the sea. At ground level, a private courtyard laid with Astroturf provides an enclosed outdoor area. A surf store with an outdoor shower is on hand for rinsing off sand and storing beach gear. Private parking for one car is available, with an EV charger on site.
