The beautiful village of Abersoch is only 4 miles away, boasting independent shops and eateries, not forgetting the sandy bay that’s popular with water sports enthusiasts. If country walks are for you, you’ll find these in abundance, while some of Wales’ famous castles, such as Criccieth (11 miles), Caernarfon (20 miles) and Harlech (20 miles) are also nearby. For TV lovers, the village of Portmeirion, which was the setting for the 1960’s sci-fi series The Prisoner, is 15 miles away.
On stepping into this relaxed yet modern-style cottage you enter into the open-plan lounge, kitchen and diner. Relax on the sumptuous sofa and chairs, watch your favourites on the Smart TV and snuggle up in front of the wood burner for cosy nights in. The stylish kitchen has access to the garden and all the mod cons you need to prepare a delicious meal, maybe using local produce purchased on your travels. When the meal is ready, gather at the dining table with views of the garden from the large window. There is a useful outside utility. When ready for bed, head upstairs and choose from two lovely bedrooms, the spacious double or the cosy twin with garden views. Take a leisurely start to the day with a soak in the shower before heading out for a day’s adventure.
