For those who want a holiday that’s truly out of the ordinary, this one-of-a-kind property is waiting to surprise you. Stunning rooms with ornate original features, antique furnishings and even a suit of armour make it a very special getaway, with a thoughtfully provided array of modern amenities plus entertainment options to suit every age group. Enter through the vestibule and into the hallway, from where you’ll find the grand dining room, which has space to seat up to 64 guests. Full of light from multiple windows, it boasts an open fire and a wood burner for cosy warmth throughout the year. Double doors lead to the incredible lounge, which has yet more stunning features as well as an open fire, bound to be your focal point when lounging on the Chesterfield sofas. Play some tunes on the grand piano or the gramophone, stream a show on the Smart TV or listen to music on the Bluetooth sound system – this is a great space in which to unwind. The commercial-standard kitchen stands ready to cater for elaborate meals, from hearty Scottish breakfasts to gourmet dinners. A dazzling array of equipment includes industrial ovens, a heated counter and commercial dishwashers. It is complemented by a kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker – ideal for quick snacks at any time. The heart of the ground floor is the Pavilion, a central open space that can be enjoyed in many ways: a dance floor (with sound system, DJ lights and a disco ball), home cinema, karaoke, poker, pool, table tennis, beer pong, Cornhole (bean-bag toss), Xbox and even sumo wrestling. Another fantastic place to relax is the ‘pub’ – a comfortable room with cosy seating and a bar, which can be stocked in advance with all your favourite drinks (an additional charge applies). You can even pull your own pint. Handily nearby is a set of ladies’ and gents’ WCs. With direct access from the hall, four super-king-size bedrooms (all of which can be made up as twins on request) are located in the courtyard. Each has an en-suite shower room, one of which is an accessible wet room. On the first floor you’ll find nine en-suite bedrooms, four of them super-king-size with magnificent four-poster beds, and one a king-size with a four-poster. Two are super-king-size with zip-and-link beds, one is a double, and the last is a convenient family room with two super king-size zip-and-link beds.
