Located in a rural spot between the villages of Winkleigh and Dolton, this cottage is an ideal base for exploring, with many walks available directly from the property. Guests can enjoy on-site experiences at Woolley Animals, including walking with alpacas, visiting goats, sheep, lambs (seasonal), and chickens, or enjoying a picnic by the on-site lakes. Veen Lakes is located just 0.3 miles away. Nearby attractions include sandy beaches at Westward Ho!, Saunton, and Croyde, as well as RHS Rosemoor, Dartington Crystal, and the cliff-side village of Clovelly. Family attractions include The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks, while the Tarka Trail offers traffic-free walking and cycling. Fishing enthusiasts can visit the nearby Stafford Moor Fishery, less than 2 miles away.
On entering the cottage, you are immediately in the lounge/diner with exposed beams, an electric fire, comfy seating and Smart TV/DVD, the perfect place to relax, and the dining table offers plenty of room for everyone to sit together and enjoy a meal or takeaway. On into the kitchen, which is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Heading upstairs there are two bedrooms one king-size and one twin zip-and-link (which could be made into a super-king on request at booking) and a further single bed. The shower room completes the accommodation with a double shower and WC also an additional shower room with WC.
Stepping outside is an enclosed garden area with garden furniture and use of a shared secure shed where you can store cycles, top boxes and surfboards etc. On site you have the opportunity to visit the farm park FOC during your stay, or pop over the café for coffee. Ample parking for two cars
