This beautiful newly built stone barn is a comfortable and stylish escape for up to six guests. It’s located in the heart of vibrant Croyde village, part of the North Coast National Landscape. Within steps of the front door are a selection of pubs and eateries, as well as beach and gift shops, while just 0.5 miles down the road is the spectacular beach, renowned for its golden sands and world-class waves. It’s a big draw for surfers but also popular with sunbathers, swimmers and sandcastle-creators, with dogs allowed outside the summer months, too. This area is a walker’s paradise, with spectacular views from the stunning South West Coast Path – try the circular trail around Baggy Point (4.5 miles long), or perhaps venture as far as Putsborough Beach (5 miles) where you can stop for a refreshing drink in the cafe before heading back.

With careful attention to detail, this high-quality retreat has been designed to offer an array of contemporary amenities. Enter through the kitchen, which is bright and spacious, and boasts a stone floor and Shaker-style cabinetry. Appliances include a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and air fryer for cooking convenience. Stroll through to the open-plan lounge/diner, the heart of this magnificent home, where you’ll find soft seating and a Smart TV, ready for streaming your favourite shows. Light floods through the french doors and, at one end, a long dining table provides space for leisurely meals, card games and planning adventures. Off the lounge is a utility room which has laundry facilities. One of the three tranquil king-size bedrooms is on the ground floor, boasting pretty linens, a dressing table and ample storage. Completing this level is a sleek family bathroom with a bath and separate, walk-in shower. The two remaining bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, are on the first floor, tucked under a sloping ceiling with skylights and, again, featuring delightfully calming colour schemes and ample storage.

The spacious and attractive patio is the perfect spot in which to enjoy both quiet moments with a coffee and celebratory meals in the sunshine. Private parking is available for two cars.
