For a relaxing getaway in the Cornish countryside, stay at this welcoming cottage for two on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Ideal for couples looking for a holiday with plenty of fresh air, the property is in a peaceful setting surrounded by spectacular walking country right on the door step. The Moor is famed for its rugged landscapes, dramatic granite tors and miles of scenic footpaths – wonderful for walkers and nature lovers. If coastal scenery is more your thing, join the South West Coast Path (12.5 miles) and follow it along the spectacular Heritage Coast. When it's time to stock up on essentials or enjoy a meal out, the historic market town of Liskeard (2.5 miles) has a great selection of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Plan memorable days out at the world-renowned Eden Project (19 miles), stopping at picturesque villages and beauty spots on the drive there.

Enter this beautiful stone cottage and pass the small hallway leading into a compact kitchen and dining area where you can prepare meals and eat together. From here, continue through to the inviting lounge/diner, boasting a cosy atmosphere for evenings in. A second dining table provides an alternative spot for sharing food. There’s plenty of natural light thanks to dual-aspect windows including glass patio doors, which you can open up to let the outside in. A sofa bed is available here for one additional guest if required. Also leading from the hallway is a useful storage and boot room with a washing machine and separate WC. Upstairs, the attractive double bedroom provides a restful space to recharge. It has an en-suite shower room with a spacious double shower. Ceiling beams throughout and exposed stone walling give the place plenty of rustic charm.
