From the train station, you can take a steam train trip inland to Corfe Castle (5 miles), a picturesque village overlooked by the remains of an impressive medieval stronghold. Nature lovers can head north to Brownsea Island (7 miles) and RSPB Arne (10.5 miles), with other local landmarks and attractions including The Blue Pool, Durdle Door, and Monkey World (all within 18 miles).
As you enter this inviting red-brick holiday home, the welcoming hallway has space for kicking off shoes after a day exploring Dorset’s coastal trails. Heading through, the light-filled open-plan lounge/diner provides a great space for everyone to sit back and socialise. Tastefully decorated in warm, relaxing shades, the cheerful lounge features ample seating and a Smart TV, alongside a handsome dining table set in the alcove of a large bay window. From the lounge, a step leads up to a charming kitchen/breakfast room with a central table and plenty of workspace and equipment, perfect for rustling up a feast. The ground floor also features a handy WC. Stairs lead up to the first floor, which has an elegantly presented family bathroom and a choice of two bright and cosy king-size bedrooms. Another flight of stairs leads to the second floor, where you will find the remaining bedrooms: a king-size and a relaxing twin. Please note, the rooms on the top floor feature low, sloping ceilings.
From the kitchen, French doors lead out into the beautiful patio garden, which features a picnic table perfect for quiet morning coffees and al fresco evening meals. Two steps down, a tranquil gravelled area is bordered by an array of mature planting. Parking is unrestricted on the street to the front of the property, although it is subject to availability.
