Soak up the maritime charm of the North Kent coast with a stay at this cosy terraced cottage in the heart of Whitstable’s historic conservation area. On relaxed days, it’s nice just to wander along Harbour Street, where you can pick up a souvenir from one of the independent shops or galleries, sample the town’s famous oysters, or simply enjoy the lively seaside atmosphere. No stay would be complete without spending time on the beach, just metres from your front door, while keen walkers and cyclists among your group can get an elevated view of the town from the Whitstable Coastal Trail. Days out are made easy as you're only 10 minutes on foot from the railway station. For a change of scene, head around 8 miles inland to historic Canterbury to explore the city’s magnificent cathedral or enjoy a night out seeing a show at the Marlowe Theatre.
Full of character, the cottage provides a comfortable space to rest up between seaside adventures. Pour yourself a cuppa and retreat to the cosy lounge, where you can snuggle up in front of the Smart TV. If you’ve prepared a family meal in the contemporary kitchen, head through to the dining room to enjoy your culinary creations around the table, which comfortably seats six. On warmer days, throw open the French doors to let the sea breeze waft in from the back garden. A family bathroom completes the ground floor. Upstairs, there’s a choice of three different-sized bedrooms for everyone to get a good night’s sleep. A bright twin room makes the most of the natural light seeping in through the window. A large double room offers a spacious place to unwind, and leading from this room, there is a further single bedroom.
Outside, the fully enclosed garden is bordered by wooden fencing and offers patio seating for basking in the sun. Roadside parking is available outside the property, although this is on a first-come, first-served basis.
