Located at the edge of the old town on the road leading up out of Padstow, Baxters Cottage is well-equipped and furnished and decorated in a light, airy, modern style. Located just 2 minutes' walk from Padstow's picturesque harbour and yet provides parking for two cars. It is just a few hundred yards from the shops, pubs and many highly recommended restaurants, including Rick Stein's famous Seafood Restaurant. Beautiful sandy beaches within the estuary are a short walk from the town and the estuary waters are also popular for water sports such as sailing and windsurfing. A 5-10 minute drive gives you a choice of several spectacular sandy beaches and coves on the dramatic North coast.

We have been to Padstow many times and stayed in different properties, however this is the best so far! The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. The location is excellent and having two parking spaces was a bonus.

Baxters Cottage is a great property situated in a great spot in Padstow. It is very well equipped and very comfortable and cosy. We would definitely recommend for a stay and will certainly book again when we come back.

Great cottage to stay in. Great for parking and so near to the centre of Padstow. Just a couple of minutes walk. The cottage is comfy, clean, modern and well equipped. It's the second time we have stayed and would stay again if visiting Padstow. Ten out of ten.

Location is very good being close to the centre of town. Only a couple of minute short walk down a small hill to get into the centre of town. I wouldn't say its a difficult hill either. Others may disagree though - everyone has differing health issues. Wifi was good... for people who care about these things. Parking looks larger than it is.Read more Its a reasonable space but due to a narrow side road to get to the shared driveway, it can be tight manouvering with larger cars (which I have) especially if the neighbour parks badly. I am a confident driver but others may struggle. No electric car charger but owner is considering getting one which would be very handy and a big plus point for the property. Although the property is setup to allow dogs/is dog friendly, I would say in my opinion it isn't great for bigger dogs. Maybe better suited to smaller dogs. Only a decking area and no grass/garden as such. Dogs are only allowed downstairs. That might be standard but this is our first time bringing a dog away with us to Cornwall so we have no reference. Perfect property/base for a couple staying. A little smaller than previously stayed at properties to cater for 4 and a dog but manageable. The location definitely wins for us. Hide

This is a lovely house, it has been decorated and updated really well, is very comfortable, and all the little touches have been thought of (like phone chargers and reading lights in the bedroom). This was maybe our 10th stay here, and it still feels like a treat, something to look forward to, as a great base to explore Padstow and the wider area. Cottage has everything you could possibly want and more. Easy parking at the property, Baxter is very warm, comfortable and cosy. Location of the cottage is in Padstow is excellent.

Baxters Cottage really is home from home - the dcor is just stunning. We love the new kitchen and the bed in the front bedroom - well just perfect, Great location, private parking, home comforts what more could you want from a holiday. We were very happy staying at Baxters cottage over Christmas, the kitchen was well equipped for all cooking needs. We had plenty of towels and toilet rolls, there was even a hairdryer! Plus a Christmas tree and crackers which made our day. The cottage was very clean and comfy, the shower was powerful and hot.. Excellent location to the town and aRead moremenities, plus parking, which is a big bonus. We cant recommend Baxters Cottage enough, for anyone who is thinking about staying here I would say its a must. Hide

We were four adults staying at Baxter's cottage for the weekend. It has everything you would need in terms of kitchen equipment and facilities. The open plan living/dining area had plenty seating for all. The bedrooms were well sized and plenty of furniture. A bonus to have two toilets. The shower was great, with good pressure. Baxters cottage is in the perfect location in Padstow - central for shops and restaurants but not so central that you lose any privacy. It was spotlessly clean and the one tiny little house keeping question we had was dealt with politely and immediately. With only one upstairs bathroom i would say it is ideal for a family. It was our first stay at Baxter's cottage and will definitely stay again. The cottage is well kept, modern and ideally situated just a short but steep hill down to the harbour. The property is very dog friendly with secure gated garden. There is ample room for two cars. Would highly recommend this property.

Lovely cottage located within 5 minutes of the town centre and harbour. Property is extremely well equipped with everything you need for your stay including parking. Accommodation was clean and welcoming. Padstow is a charming coastal town with a good selection of dining options.
