The beds were very comfortable and clean. There was a good shower and the upstairs toilet was handy. Some of the furnishings needed updating. It was in a good area for the high street and the harbour, but alot of people passed by the window, and vehicles were very noisy at times, speeding down the street. At times we couldn't park near the house. Read moreThere was a car park nearby charging 1.95 per hour. Lovely cottage right in the centre of Whitstable at a good price. It's on a side street, so it's quiet. Everything we needed in the cottage was easy to find and the owner was quick and helpful when I messaged about parking. Parking in the streets around the cottage is free. Really lovely place to stay. Cottage comfortable and clean but needs the extra upgrade as suggested. Response from holidaycottges.co.uk - Thank you for your review. We have passed on your suggestions of getting a microwave and a bigger TV to the owner.

The cottage, was charming. It was beautifully done throughout, we loved everything although the stairs were a little steep. It had everything and more than what we needed for our stay, with beautiful shops, restaurants and the seaside on our doorstep. It was comfortable, warm and cosy. Just lovely. We would stay there again and totally recommend itRead more. Parking is not great, but we managed, with minimal time in the actual car park, which is literally behind the back gate.
