Spacious, well-equipped, private & peaceful bungalow located in a lovely village close to everywhere you'd want to go. I loved the large, rather rambling garden with its gravel & brick paths leading everywhere.& nowhere. One or two niggles ('wet' room, clothes storage being occupied with spare bedding) but nothing major really. Highly recommended!

The bungalow, its location and the extensive grounds are unusual and a genuine delight. We hope to return next year.

A modern house in a good location, with a very comfortable and delightful large bath. The layout is a bit strange, with no door separating the living space off from the bedroom end of the house (but the bedrooms do have doors), while the kitchen is not open plan. The surrounding cul de sac is mostly tranquil and the garden large with some interestiRead moreng boulders. The house seems to have been redecorated recently and we found the kitchen well-equipped. The ensuite shower is perhaps not the most functional but it does the job, and we had no issues with water pressure. Hide

We have stayed here several times and have always had a good time - the property is warm, comfortable and quiet - a perfect location. Westleton Heath is only a short walk from the property and the village shop is very useful. The church is a lovely, peaceful, light, airy space and the Westleton Crown opposite the church is very good; the beer batRead moretered haddock, chips, mushy peas and homemade tartare sauce was delicous as well as very filling! We have plans to stay here again. Hide

The bungalow is very well designed with the bedrooms & bathrooms one end of the property & the living area the other. The garden is beautiful. It's very naturally planted and the enormous boulders make it very interesting.

Our second stay at this cottage and it's clear improvements have been made. While we were there got new oven, toaster, kettle and airfryer. Our only issue was that the agent didn't let us know that the new oven was being delivered and it was awkward for us and the fitters as we were still in our nightwear.

The bungalow itself is clean, comfortable and situated in a pretty village, ideally located for the Suffolk coast. There is a lovely garden, ideal for sitting out in the sunshine after a day exploring. However, we have to reiterate comments made by earlier reviewers regarding the shower which was unusable due to emitting only a dribble of cold wateRead morer. This resulted in problems for one of our party who has mobility issues and was unable to use the bath. This problem was echoed in the comments in the visitors' book so seems to have been ongoing for quite some time. In short, the property is ideal if all of your party are able bodied. However, for those with mobility issues, unless the shower problem is fixed, it definitely presents a problem Response from holidaycottages.co.uk: Thank you for your review. We have spoken to the owner and the issue has now been resolved. Hide

We had a wonderful week, the weather was good and we walked for miles over Westleton Common and Heath as well as all around RSPB Minsmere and Dunwich Heath - no need to go anywhere else apart from Saxmundham for supplies. As in previous visits we were warm and comfortable in the cottage, which is spacious. It's a pity more guests don't fill the bRead moreird feeders as there weren't many visits from birds or the squirrels. Hoping to come again next year. Hide
