The Hideaway is a lovely light and airy property. It's a well-equipped, self-contained wing of the owner's house that is tucked away in a peaceful location in St Merryn. The village offers a wide range of restaurants, pubs and shops and the bakery is a must for a traditional Cornish pasty! - And all within a few minutes walking distance from the property. The Hideaway lies only a stones throw away from many North coast beaches too so you can fill your days with surfing, rock pooling and exploring coastal paths. A short drive away is Padstow’s fishing village where you can enjoy an evening meal in the well-known Rick Stein's Seafood restaurant or perhaps take a bike ride along the Camel Trail. End your day in the suntrap of your own enclosed garden, with the barbeque and a well-deserved glass of wine. An unspoilt area of Cornwall. This property has plenty to offer for everyone - and your furry friend!

GROUND FLOOR:
Kitchen/Lounge/Diner: Electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, TV with Now TV, DVD player, DAB Radio, dining table and chairs, sofa and armchair.
Bedroom 2: Bunk beds (3'), single wardrobe, bedside table.

FIRST FLOOR:
Bedroom 1: King size bed (5'), built-in wardrobe, bedside tables, dressing table and stool, Smart TV, hair dryer, beautiful countryside views.
Bathroom: Bath with thermostatic shower over, basin, w.c., heated towel rail.

GARDEN & PARKING: Parking for one large car, enclosed patio with law garden, barbecue, table and chairs for four.

Changeover Day: Saturday - arrival 4:00pm - departure 10:00am.
Pet Welcome: One dog welcome; £25 per week. 
Power and Heat: Gas and electricity included in rent; gas fired c.h./hot water, additional electric heaters, heated towel rail bathroom.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided; please bring your own beach towels.
Baby Equipment: Baby bath, travel cot, high chair and stairgate for the top of the stairs.
Shop: 180 yds  Pub: 180 yds

NOTES: No smoking. WiFi provided. Call box 250 yds, mobile reception varies.

This was a lovely cosy retreat for us and our dog, a very short walk to a couple of local bars, and another pub about a 10-15 minute walk away. Ideally located for exploring the local area with the coastline a couple of minutes away. Great holiday accommodation close to all the local amenities in the village. Plenty big enough for two adults and our dog. Small fully enclosed garden which was handy for the dog. Driveway for parking. Owners on hand if you need anything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Hideaway and it was ideally located for visiting our chosen attractions. We particularly liked it's proximity to shops, restaurants and pubs.

Hideaway was a comfortable cottage with everything we needed. The location was excellent with easy access to several beaches and a small shop and bakery in the village. Great location close to Padstow and dog friendly beaches. Easy to contact the owners with any queries with milk and teabags provided ready for arrival.

Property had everything we required as a base to explore Cornwall from. Nice and cosy in an excellent position in St Merryn with pubs and conveniences on the doorstep. Would definitely stay here again.

Hideaway is in a perfect location for beaches and lovely restaurants. The property had everything we needed,Sean and Zoe the owners were very accommodating. We would love to return soon
