A tranquil rural setting on a small working farm, following regenerative farming practices, situated alongside Baileys Whin and the owners’ farmhouse. Surrounded by meadow grassland supporting a variety of wildflowers and native grasses, birds and insects. Take a farm walk with the owners, see their herd of pedigree Longhorns and visit the Tamworth pigs in the woodland. Sip a glass of wine down by the farm wildlife lake, sample some home-produced beef and pork. Walking and footpaths from the door explore nearby Almscliffe Crag and the old church at Stainburn. With easy access into nearby towns, this property offers the perfect Yorkshire getaway, visit RHS Harlow Carr Gardens or venture into Harrogate for a visit to Betty's famous Tearooms, a spa treatment at the Turkish Baths or exhibition at the conference centre. Families can enjoy days out at Fountains Abbey, Valley Gardens or spend a day shopping in nearby Leeds.

Head up the terrace steps and enter the cottage entrance hallway with plenty of room for coats and boots. On to the well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The cozy, comfortable feeling is accentuated by the York stone fireplace and wood burner at the heart of the lounge/diner with smart TV and a selection of books and games. The double bedroom and en-suite shower room and WC are on the ground floor and has patio doors to the front. Head up the winding staircase to the first floor, here you will find the twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made into a super-king-size on request) and the bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Both rooms have wonderful views of the orchard, fields and woodland.

The cottage has a south facing terrace/patio area with outdoor furniture for al fresco dining. It also shares a walled, gated garden. The is secure lockable storage for bicycles and parking for two cars is available.

We had a very enjoyable holiday at this lovely & well equipped cottage. Very pleasant location & convenient for visiting many places of interest. The owners are very helpful & friendly people. We certainly would recommend this property.

The cottage was excellent in every way. A beautiful rural setting and very comfortable. Well equipped, with generous extras in the kitchen. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend if you want peace and quiet but be handy for interesting places to visit.

Superb cottage in a lovely location. First class hosts who even took us on a guided tour of the farm. Could not be faulted.
