Think coastal charm, water views and the beach nearby… Harbour Cottage ticks all the boxes for a self catering holiday in Southwold!

Harbour Cottage is beautiful! Relax in front of the wood burning stove on the cooler evenings and dine alfresco in the front garden overlooking the water on sunny summer days. This is a property for all seasons. The four cottage style bedrooms are delightful with pretty bedding and curtains… we love the room at the top with its white boarded ceiling and arched window. The sitting room has a couple of comfortable sofas and a dining table with seating. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, washer dryer and a kitchen table with pew style seating.

Harbour Cottage is in a great location with views across to Walberswick and Southwold is about a 15 minute walk away. Southwold is a traditional coastal town famous for its pier, lighthouse, pastel coloured beach huts and fabulously fresh seafood! The town has some excellent independent shops, cafes and restaurants, be sure to call in for a pint of the acclaimed Adnams beer in one of the popular pubs.

This is the perfect bolthole for families and friends looking for a seaside holiday in Suffolk. The views are wonderful and the seafront easily accessible… a unique coastal bolthole!

Why we love this property... a charming cosy cottage in one of our favourite spots! Relax on the harbourside and watch the coming and goings on the water, simply perfect!

We had a fabulous week in the cottage - we did have some amazing weather too. The cottage is really comfortable and cozy and we loved the way it was styled. It was really well equipped and would definitely book again should we return to Southwold (which is highly likely!!!)

A nostalgic step back in time, that warm feeling from childhood of staying with your Grandma. A cosy comfortable cottage where everything has been thought of, in the most beautiful location you could imagine. We would almost rather not tell people how lovely we found it because more people will book it and we won't be able to stay again!!

The cottage is beautifully presented, with a lovely sense of going back in time of quaint and thoughtful comfort. We so enjoyed the sunrises at the back at sunsets at the front. Such a wonderful location.

Ideal location, ideal cottage for 3 generations of our family to spend a holiday together. We love the walks, birdwatching, shopping in Southwold, variety of places to have lunch and dinner. We have enjoyed staying in this cottage annually (well, almost) since since 2013. That is surely the highest recommendation.

This is a little gem on the Suffolk coast. The location is superb, we thought the position right next to the water was just delightful, a very peaceful place to watch the world go by. We enjoyed some lovely walks and enjoyed the fresh fish we bought from Samantha K's fish shop which is a stone's throw away. The cottage itself has 4 bedrooms, all Read moreof a decent size with plenty of blankets and interesting books to read. Some decor is a little tired and the kitchen is a bit higgledy piggledy but we found this all part of the charm and character of the place. We really enjoyed borrowing the binoculars for a spot of birdwatching and reading all the bird books to find out what we had seen! Overall, a gorgeous little spot which we would certainly return to.
