Further afield, make your way to Pooley Bridge (14 miles) to take a cruise on one of England’s prettiest lakes and then treat yourself to some top-class pub grub.
Step inside your pretty stone cottage, and to your left, you’ll discover an inviting open-plan farmhouse-style kitchen/dining area – the heart of the home with separate utility area.
