Excellent cottage in a great location. Had everything we needed. The garden was great for the kids and the dog with it being fully enclosed. Great local outdoor swimming pool in lazonby 5 min drive away with a Co-op shop. Hardist pass also worth a visit for a spectacular view. Would definitely recommend and we will be staying again.

An amazing cottage in the most peaceful of settings but really easy access to the Lakes and other lovely walks like High Cup Nick (all an approx 30min drive on quiet roads). The cottage itself is beautifully presented and very spacious. The rooms are clean and bright and the kitchen is well stocked. Over dog (English setter) loved the secure gardenRead more and spent most of her day staring into the fields looking for things to chase. Having the utility room is really handy to drop of your muddy stuff and the living room was very cost. My husband worked from the snug/office during the day and he said it was fine even with his two monitors set up and the Internet was perfect for this. The views are amazing from the garden and it was so calm and peaceful, so you could really relax. The local village is not far away and there is a good size coop and outdoor heated pool there. The walks along the river Eden were beautiful and worth a wonder. Can't wait to book again Hide
