We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this lovely house! The games room was a massive hit across three generations of our family, sparking plenty of friendly, competitive fun. The kitchen was extremely well-equipped, making it incredibly easy to cater for everyone and a generous welcome basket was much appreciated. It was mesmerizing watching the waRead moreter from the garden stream drop down under the glass floor in the kitchen and we loved exploring the beautiful garden. We were thrilled to spot the wren and the ducks, the elusive kingfisher unfortunately eluded us this time. As a quick note for future guests: during our stay, some ducklings appeared underneath the glass floor while the mother duck was up top. We were initially quite worried, but Gill reassured us that the mother would return to themand sure enough, she did! If you notice this during your stay, there is absolutely no need to worry. Communication with Gill was excellent throughout. The location is incredibly convenient, with a Spar shop just a short walk away for any quick essentials. While we didn't try the two local village pubs, it was great to know they were there. Getting into Lincoln was a breeze by car, and the local buses appeared to run very regularly. Our stay at Mill House was just lovely, and we truly enjoyed our stay! Hide
