This family-friendly home provides a group of six with a comfortable and welcoming spot in the north of Cornwall. Head to the golden beaches in the sunny seaside village of Rock (3 miles), which has a charming beach for swimming and relaxing. After you have soaked in the sun, take a short ferry ride to Padstow to the shops and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants, pubs, or cafes. If you fancy trying out surfing, visit Polzeath (4 miles), which has several surf schools lining its wide sandy shores. From here, you can join the undulating South West Coast Path and take long walks while you admire the beautiful scenery. For enjoyable days out, visit Camel Creek Adventure Park (10 miles), home to rides and animal encounters.
Inside this pretty stone-built barn, you will find several quaint features, including a stone mantlepiece housing an open fire in the lounge. Here, you can cosy up on the sofas and watch something on the Smart TV. The lovely kitchen is compact yet well-equipped with everything you need to rustle up meals for all occasions, and a six-seater table enables you all to eat together. When you are ready for some much-deserved sleep, climb the stairs to the first floor where the three bedrooms are waiting to welcome you to a good night’s sleep. Choose from a king-size with vanity basin, a twin bedroom, or a bunk bedroom. They all share a bathroom with a shower over the bath, vanity basin and a WC.
Outside and up some steps is an enclosed garden which has a patio area, furniture, and a BBQ. Dine alfresco or enjoy morning coffees while overlooking the verdant countryside around you. Private parking is provided for two cars.
